Ingredients
1 (14.3 oz) package OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies (about 36 cookies)
8 oz cream cheese, softened
16 oz dark chocolate candy melts
Lollipop sticks
24 OREO mini cookies, cut in half (for bat wings)
White writing icing or edible googly eyes
Instructions
1. Finely crush 36 Oreo cookies in a food processor until crumbly.
2. In a large bowl, mix the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until well combined and a dough forms.
3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Insert a lollipop stick into each ball. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
4. Melt the dark chocolate candy melts according to package directions.
5. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, covering completely. Tap gently to remove excess.
6. Immediately attach two half mini Oreos to the sides of the “bat” for wings, pressing gently.
7. While the chocolate is still wet, add edible googly eyes or draw eyes with white writing icing.
8. Place on parchment paper to set completely. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes
