Ingredients
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 (1-ounce) packet ranch dressing mix
1/4 cup finely chopped black olives
1 tablespoon milk (optional, for thinning)
Black gel food coloring (for spider web)
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and ranch dressing mix. Beat until smooth.
2. If the dip is too thick, add milk, 1 teaspoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
3. Spread the dip evenly onto a round platter or serving dish.
4. Spoon the black gel food coloring into a small piping bag or a Ziploc bag with a tiny corner snipped off.
5. Starting from the center, pipe concentric circles of gel food coloring onto the dip.
6. Using a toothpick, drag lines from the center outwards to create a spider web design.
7. Serve immediately with crackers, pita bread, or vegetable sticks. Chill if not serving right away!
Notes
This Halloween appetizer is easily customizable! You can add shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, or even a dash of hot sauce to the dip mixture.
For an extra spooky touch, place a plastic spider or two on the platter, but ensure they are clearly decorative and not edible.
