Spooky Oreo Truffle Eyeballs are a delightfully eerie no-bake treat perfect for Halloween parties. These easy-to-make snacks combine crushed Oreo cookies with cream cheese, coated in white chocolate and decorated to look like spooky eyeballs.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 24 truffles 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 (14.3 oz) package Oreo cookies

8 oz cream cheese softened

16 oz good quality white chocolate melted

Black gel food coloring

Red gel food coloring

Candy eyes (optional for extra detail)

Instructions

1. Crush the entire package of Oreo cookies (cream included) into fine crumbs; a food processor works best.

2. In a large bowl combine Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese; mix until a dough-like consistency forms.

3. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet; refrigerate at least 30 minutes until firm.

4. Melt white chocolate per package directions (microwave or double boiler).

5. Dip each chilled truffle into melted white chocolate; let excess drip off then set on parchment.

6. While still wet add one candy eye to the center of each truffle (if using); chill 15–20 minutes to set.

7. When firm draw a small pupil with black gel (if needed) then add thin red “bloodshot” lines from the center outward.

8. Refrigerate until ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes

Use full-fat cream cheese for best texture.

Work quickly when dipping; truffles soften at room temperature. Gently re-warm chocolate if it thickens.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 5 days.
